Dave loves Robots
Dave West has a new site devoted to robots. He is building up a great collection of robot art (and a drawing by me), with everything from Cybermen to the Terminator. Artists featured include David Hitchcock, Garen Ewing and Roger Langridge. And me. http://www.robots-assemble.com/

I hope they win. Maybe they already have. Maybe we're all robots, Sheriff. Maybe you are just in denial.

in the ongoing struggle of "monkeys vs robots" i've often supported the fuzzies.
but after watching those nasty little monsters on bbc chimp week i reckon i'm up for a cull!
let's just save those little monkeys, y'know the ones they take photos of inside teacups and stuff, the ones that are basically fluff that goes "meep".
anything bigger than that, any of those dirty rapey fighty chimpy terrors or those ones with the fingers (oh god the fingers)must go!
i need a quad bike, a cattle prod and a blunderbuss full of nails.
bring on the robots

What about the humanzee thing, where do you stand on those?
Posted by: Anonymous | January 10, 2006 01:09 PM
robots, schmobots, they are overdue an ass kickin'
monkeys, i like the one's that are crack acddicted or smoke 90 a day in Monkey World.
Humanzee's - Brilliant. Any digusting half man, half monkey, who gets a Japanese woman to conduct crazy sexual experiments on is alright by me.

humanzees are a tricky one.
they are probably tool users, maybe they could be used as monkey butlers?
Posted by: andy | January 10, 2006 02:04 PM
Robots or Apes (be careful using the term 'monkey' they don't like that) ... it all ends up going badly for humans ... maybe the cyborg or humanzee are our only chance of survival.

I agree don't agree with Cyborgs being our only chance... Cyclopes though.

At least we'd have cool looking pets.

Monkey mate in the jungle
Robot replicate in factory
They both love their Mother

maybe a one eyed humanzee butler with a robot maid like in the jetsons?
i could go for some of that.
i hope you're keeping tabs on this leonie?
this is the sort of free form jam session where great ideas are formed!
there's a comic in here somewhere!
or maybe we all just hate being in work?

Hey, do think I actually READ this blog? I've got better things to do, like....um...important stuff....
I vote robots. or sharks. robotsharks.
Posted by: Leonie | January 10, 2006 04:19 PM
Are you a repli-can or a repli-cant?
Posted by: Sheriff | January 10, 2006 04:29 PM
So .. we have a scientific family who along with their one eyed humanzee butler and robo-maid, manage to get attacked by robo-sharks ... sounds like a low budget version of the old Lost in Space prog, but underwater. Yes, I know. How could you get more low budget than Lost in Space ?

I have ten pounds, is that enough to make it? It sounds like something I would not only watch but also buy all the related products and spin-offs too.
Good joke Sheriff.
