pocket wookies!
Should hopefully be moving house next week! Then I can live like normal folk, with proper homes, who don't have slugs in the kitchen and packaging crates for shelves. The new place will inevitably have a shark infestation, but that's not such a bad thing.
Seems like my little wookie isn't alone, there's a whole herd of them out there:

I think the person who set this up might've been the same one who emailed me asking where I got my wookie. I didn't realise it would lead to a project like this! I haven't got a very good internet set up (as I like to mention in pretty much every post - that should change when I move. Yippeee) so I haven't watched any of the footage, but it seems to be about Wookie emancipation, which I'm sure can only be a good thing. Although they do like to rip the arms off things and they are a lot stronger than you'd expect for such a tiny creature, so you do have to be careful.

you're moving? where to? Will you still be a local girl?
My house is worth loads. It's in a pedestrianised street and every thing. Striped wood floor.
The slug in our hall doesn't seem to care about that.

I'm moving about 5 minutes up the road! I have some stuff of yours, we'll have to sort out some kind of collection / drink and a catch up.

I know you have such a love for comics, have you tried animation? Your painterly approach could really suit rotoscoping.
I think you might enjoy this short: http://www.lucyleefilms.co.uk/film_heaven.html

Thanks James,
I'd love to try animation, but I haven't got the technical skills or patience or any of the other important qualities that animators posess!I've done some pre-production stuff, but never any actual animation. Maybe some day though....
